The Small Print

Assignments can be accepted from clients nationwide.

Payment is accepted by cheque payable to “Kirsty Reid”.  I do not offer credit facilities  and upon receiving your invoice, payment is required by return.

Written quotations can be provided upon request, however quotes can usually be agreed verbally before the assignment is undertaken.  I do, however, reserve the right to amend the quote should your needs change.  If this is the case, I will always discuss this with you prior to proceeding with the assignment.

If, upon receiving completed assignments, errors, which are deemed to be my fault, are found then the assignment will be corrected and returned to you at no further expense to you.

If text is illegible or a recording is found to be inaudible then I will not persevere in trying to finish it.  I will contact you to discuss the best way of completing it.

All incoming and outgoing emails are scanned by up to date anti-virus software and any suspicious messages received will be immediately deleted.

I will not accept assignments which are found to contain immoral or illegal material.

For your information: Fifteen minutes of dictated speech takes roughly one hour to transcribe. Therefore a sixty minute tape of dictation is likely to take a MINIMUM of four hours to transcribe.

All invoices will be subject to my minimum charge of £10, each additional hour thereafter will be charged by each quarter hour.
